About me

My name is Pierre C. Arseneault, (AKA; PCA) and I am a freelance cartoonist and artist.

I was born and raised in a small town in New Brunswick, Canada. My passion for drawing was first inspired at a young age by some of the great cartoonist and comic book artist of the late 70's and early 80's reading comics and cartoons whenever I could. Also much to the displeasure of my teachers, I spent a lot of time doodling in class.

Later on in life I became too busy earning a living in the manufacturing industry to draw; I had not drawn much since my early 20's as this part of my life was left behind for some time.

A combination of things over the years has re-ignited my inspiration to draw again. In 2004 focusing on cartooning first, I started on a path to become a freelance cartoonist and soon after my cartoon puzzles were being published in a local French newspaper.

Since then in my efforts to self syndicate these puzzles I have developed, they have been published in many newspapers. Since I am bilingual, these are still currently being published in both French and English. I was also commissioned by the original French newspaper to produce cartoons for a coloring book with a safety them for kids which was so well received that a second was produced a short while later.

Having been re-inspired to draw again has eventually led me to Tangent Games ( www.tangent-games.com ) for whom I have done some fantasy art for their books.

With my pencils sharpened I sit at my drawing table hoping that readers all over will continue to enjoy my cartoons and puzzles for many years to come.
